Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager acts as the SPOC for selected partners. This includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements of the overall proposition. Key skills include the ability to understand and communicate the following at an executive level both internally and externally.

Main tasks includes:

  • definition of a strategic approach to building and maintaining relationship with partners,
  • interacts on an executive level within and outside of the CIS organization to ensure that Partner Management tactics and activities are addressing the needs of the organizations being served,
  • strong collaboration with procurement team on sourcing strategy,
  • engagement in all sales cycles starting from pre-sales activity through projects and run services,
  • risk management,
  • provides oversight and facilitates resolution and escalation for all financial, contractual and compliance related and escalated service performance issues relating to partners,
  • ensure that resources are in place and tactics developed and executed to achieve enterprise partner management goals and strategies,
  • create and maintain a strong governance layer with regular reviews, reporting and adherence to contractual commitments / Provides reporting to various levels of executive and management forums,
  • identifies opportunities to enhance, develop, and implement a supplier oversight program for the company.


  • experience in similar position,
  • a strong background in End User Services infrastructure technologies and architecture, ideally from more than one company,
  • knowledge of SLA modelling, measures and penalty methods that both satisfy the client whilst minimising business risk,
  • exposure to financial models and charging principles,
  • project management skills and delivery experience,
  • excellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal,
  • additional language will be an asset,
  • broad understanding of the technology providers in this space,
  • decisive yet collaborative leadership style,
  • superior written and oral communication skills,
  • collaboration and facilitation skills,
  • proven leadership skills.
