Fixed assets accountant/specialist with Greek

Responsibilities:

accountable for governance relating to fixed assets through ensuring processes are in place and adherence to company policies,
data custodian for all Fixed Asset records within ERP system. Ensure that all records are created and maintained to ensure that risk related to fixed asset recordkeeping is minimized,
focused on processing all treasury operations in accordance with company policies and fulfilling daily operational duties, monthly reporting and reconciliation of bank accounts,
accountable for creating and capturing all capital projects in ERP system,
responsible for accurate recordkeeping in ERP system, relating to project status,
responsible for capital spend settlement,
accountable for asset creation and spend transfer from project systems to fixed asset register,
responsible for maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register,
support physical verification process through,
responsible for key month-end tasks,
ensure compliance to Global Control Standards (GCS) within Fixed Assets Cycle and ensure that key controls achieve “effective” on a quarterly basis,
identify, prepare, and process journal entries according to GAAP by the stated period close deadlines,
manage in-house bank accounts; providing account statements and calculate interest and fees,
manage all bank transactions on a day to day basis and support FX working capital requirements met,
prepare bank account analyses and reconcile general ledger accounts to bank statement.

University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education,
wide range of knowledge related to Fixed asset accounting and Treasury, understanding of accounting in general (D/C, rules),
fluent in Greek,
intellectual capacity to link accounting concepts to underlying financial data systems in order to understand, analyse and interpret actual results and troubleshoot any issues with the data,
experience of financial systems and Databases e.g.,SAP/ Oracle.
