Chief Accountant (M/F)

About the employer:

Our client is an international automotive company specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative roof systems for passenger cars. The company works with the largest and most prestigious automotive brands in the world, providing them with the highest quality solutions. In Poland, it operates a modern production plant that combines global standards with local experience and engineering expertise.

Responsibilities:

• coordinating the work of the team responsible for accounting,
• in-house financial services,
• conducting financial settlements with external institutions (Tax Office, banks, audit companies),
• bookkeeping,
• preparation of tax returns,
• records of the company's fixed assets,
• responsibility for the company and Polish financial statements, in accordance with applicable regulations, 
• monitoring and analysis of tax regulations in terms of their correct application in everyday situations in business activity,
• keeping accounts in accordance with the standards applicable in the company,
• conducting internal projects aimed at improving processes and procedures within the accounting department,
• supervision of reports, reports,
• cooperation with external and internal auditors of the Company,
• conducting accruals, liabilities, and provisions,
• cooperation with the Group Office team.

Requirements:

• higher education, preferably in the field of finance,
• 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company, preferred in the automotive industry,
• practical knowledge of accounting and tax issues,
• knowledge of the Accounting Act,
• knowledge of CIT, VAT, VHT, taxes,
• fluency in English,
• fluent knowledge of MS Excel, SAP,
• knowledge of national and international regulations in the field of finance and accounting,
• effective management of working time, good organization of one's own work, team management,
• the ability to work under time pressure.
