Requirements:

  • strong professional background in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including building distributed systems, service-to-service communication, and API-driven integrations,
  • practical experience with object-relational mapping frameworks such as Hibernate, nHibernate, or similar tools,
  • solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, with hands-on work in technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or ElasticSearch,
  • proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD workflows using platforms like Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI,
  • competence in cloud-native and DevOps-oriented environments, particularly with AWS, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes,
  • previous exposure to financial systems or other regulated domains would be an advantage,
  • knowledge of modern front-end ecosystems (React, Angular, Vue) is beneficial but not required.
  • fluent command of both Polish and English,
  • experience working in iterative, Agile-driven teams with the flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities,
  • high level of ownership, strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, and the ability to work effectively across different parts of a large organization while guiding technical decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of up to 5 developers,
  • work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions,
  • own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from initial requirements to production release,
  • champion best engineering practices and maintain high standards of code quality within the team,
  • serve as a primary technical counterpart for client-side architects and product owners,
  • manage day-to-day development activities and ensure smooth project execution,
  • define team goals, track progress, and evaluate overall performance.
