Python Developer (M/F)

About the employer:

 our client is a fast-growing financial services organisation entering the Polish market. With an ambitious expansion plan and a commitment to building strong local operations, the company is establishing its Warsaw office as a key hub for its regional activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at an early stage of its growth in Poland, contribute to shaping its structures, and work closely with an experienced international team.

Responsibilities:

• develop, improve, and maintain internal web applications used by investment, operations, compliance, and risk teams,
• build backend services and APIs using Python,
• participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment workflows,
• work closely with the CLO management team to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions,
• use and learn modern technologies such as ReactJS, Postgres, Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Redis.

Requirements:

• minimum 2 years of professional software development experience (strong junior to mid-level),
• strong background in web development,
• solid understanding of software engineering principles, debugging, testing practices, and Git,
• strong quantitative and analytical skills,
• knowledge of financial instruments.
• proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities,
• passion for technology and continuous learning,
• ability to organize work effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines,
• comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,
• strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate with teams across the organization,
• team-oriented with a high sense of ownership.

Nice to Have:

• credit or CLO experience,
• Docker experience - plus,
• database experience - plus,
• exposure to containerization and cloud hosting technologies (e.g., Docker, AWS),
• understanding of structured credit or other asset-backed securities.
