About the employer:

For our client, a world leader in the automotive industry in the production of bearings and electrically assisted steering systems, we are currently looking for Sales Engineer. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • identification of new business opportunities and the appropriate winning strategy 
  • manage customer base and build positive working relationships to ensure efficient running of business in sales area,
  • provide an efficient and effective interface between the customer and all departments within the Business Unit (particularly customer service, applications engineering and supply),
  • develop OEM and Distribution Sales to ensure sales direction is towards growth accounts and achieving sustainable, profitable business (includes targeting specific customers and sectors),
  • ensure delivery of the OEM and Distribution sales and profit budget and assume key account management at major customers in the area of responsibility,
  • manage the implementation and ongoing delivery of deals for the best benefits
  • managing relationships with key customer purchase management,
  • ensuring appropriate reporting and promotion to sell-back the field delivery,
  • responsible for providing a safe working environment for all employees and to ensure that health, safety and environment is the top priority,
  • managing relationships with key distributor sales management,
  • ensure comprehensive records kept for selling out to sell back to distributors,
  • utilize marcomms to maximize out impact. 

Requirements:

  • university degree or post A level education probably in engineering or business-related discipline,
  • languages: Advanced English spoken and written as a must,
  • driving license of B category,
  • able to balance multi-issues constantly and prioritize,
  • 2 years sales experience in B2B,
  • very good negotiation and strong communication skills,
  • ready for further improvements of personal and professional skills,
  • PC skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
  • ready for frequent travels.
