As a Scrum Master, you will lead Agile data teams through the Scrum framework, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvement,
you will foster collaboration, ensure high-quality delivery, and bridge communication between technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• facilitate core Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for data-focused teams,
• identify and remove obstacles hindering team progress, such as tooling issues, data access, or inter-team dependencies,
• coach teams on Agile methodologies tailored to data delivery and analytics processes,
• collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and align data-related user stories with strategic objectives,
• cultivate a culture of learning and adaptation by driving feedback loops and process refinements,
• ensure visibility of sprint activities and team performance through reporting tools and dashboards,
• align with cross-functional stakeholders including data scientists, engineers, and BI developers to meet project milestones,
• incorporate data governance and quality standards into Agile planning and execution,
• monitor and report Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown to foster team performance and predictability,
• encourage transparent communication across technical and business units to support data-driven initiatives,
• support compliance with data privacy and security requirements throughout Agile delivery cycles.

Requirements:

• proficiency with Agile project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps,
• solid understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks,
• familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts in modern development,
• basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab,
• experience working with Agile reporting tools including dashboards, burndown charts, and velocity metrics,
• good grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile’s place within it,
• familiarity with Azure cloud services and their application in development workflows,
• foundational understanding of APIs, databases, and system architecture to facilitate discussions,
• awareness of QA processes and test automation tools used in Agile environments.

Nice to have:

• certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification,
• experience participating in or supporting enterprise-level Agile transformations,
• familiarity with scaled Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Kanban, or Lean.
