Vehicle Test Engineer

Job purpose:

Coordinate engineering related with Vehicle Software technical activities on a developed project internally and towards the customer.

Responsibilities:

• system requirements analysis and vehicle test specification creation.
• conducting vehicle tests and analyzing test results. 
• PTC defect creation and management,
• organizing test data and preparing test reports.
• maintenance and improvement of test equipment,
• prepare customer technical presentations base on aligned team input.

Requirements:

• strong understanding of vehicle test procedures and test specification creation. 
• experience in embedded system tuning and calibration on vehicles,
• hands-on experience with PTC defect tracking tools,
• ability to write detailed test reports and analyse test results,
• proficiency in vehicle testing tools such as CANape, INCA, or Vector tools. o Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ASPICE compliance.
• experience with BMW validation processes and tools is a plus,
• support in ED&D estimates,
• know-how of related automotive maturity levels, production processes and development standards,
• experience in hydraulic and mechatronic brake systems will be an advantage,
• experience in vehicle, dyno or bench testing will be an advantage,
• know-how of related measurement systems, data acquisition and evaluation will be an advantage.
