About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to oversee our Accounts Payable and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. In this role, you’ll take ownership of core accounting operations - from vendor payments to monthly close - while driving continuous improvement, automation, and system upgrades. You'll also lead a small team and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong potential for growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing and executing monthly and annual financial closing activities in alignment with US GAAP
- Supervising AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and optimizing cash flow
- Reviewing and approving key journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
- Maintaining and strengthening internal controls and accounting policies
- Supporting statutory filings, audits, and external reporting with high-quality documentation
- Identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency - especially around ERP systems
- Coaching and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally with 3+ years in leadership
- Solid understanding of general ledger management and AP processes
- Strong command of US GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
- Track record of working in international, high-growth, or subscription-based businesses
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, and passion for digitalization
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in cross-functional collaboration
- English fluency required; Polish is a plus
