About the employer:

 Our client is a reputable insurance provider offering a wide range of commercial and personal insurance solutions. With a strong presence in multiple markets, the company is committed to delivering reliable coverage and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities: 

  • analyze complex internal and external business challenges and proactively design solutions to address them,
  • collaborate closely with key stakeholders from six countries to gather and refine business requirements, including facilitating workshops when necessary,
  • perform thorough business analysis, define clear and actionable functional requirements, and actively participate in testing and validation of implemented solutions,
  • support product owners and workstream leads in the preparation of business cases and contribute to achieving strategic program goals,
  • foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, functional workstreams, and senior stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and alignment of expectations,
  • develop comprehensive user stories, maintain well-structured documentation, support issue resolution, and facilitate refinement sessions with developers and testers,
  • ensure a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and proactively assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and solutions.

Requirements:

  • hands-on experience as a Business Analyst (experience within the insurance sector is a significant advantage),
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and international teams,
  • practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments,
  • strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead workshops with diverse stakeholders,
  • high attention to detail and a focus on delivering accurate, high-quality outputs,
  • strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage issues effectively, and to perform well under tight deadlines,
  • fluent English, both spoken and written,
  • ability to perform system analysis and recognize dependencies, always considering business needs and requirements,
  • proficiency in translating business needs into clear, structured user stories, while managing dependencies across multiple functional areas.

Nice to have:

  • familiarity with the Guidewire Insurance Suite or other insurance platforms,
  • experience gained in consulting or IT companies, especially in the non-life insurance domain,

  • solid understanding of insurance processes and insurance product knowledge,

  • practical experience using business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio),

  • possession of relevant certifications such as IIBA, Agile, or Scrum,

  • experience working with ticketing and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
