Controlling Manager

Controlling Manager is responsible for overseeing financial controlling processes across production, logistics, sales, and marketing, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.

Additionally, the role requires strong leadership to guide the controlling team and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• ensure accurate cost allocation and profitability analysis,
• develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans,
• analyze budget variances and optimize working capital, cash flow, and CAPEX,
• provide financial insights to support decision-making,
• identify cost inefficiencies and drive improvement strategies,
• support strategic projects, investment planning, and pricing initiatives,
• foster a cost-conscious culture and support lean initiatives,
• monitor efficiency metrics and optimize production, logistics, and inventory costs,
• implement cost-saving initiatives with operations teams,
• assess marketing ROI, sales performance, and pricing strategies,
• analyze customer contracts and the impact of promotions,
• develop KPI tracking systems and management reports,
• benchmark against industry trends and enhance reporting with BI tools,
• ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate financial risks,
• support transfer pricing and statutory reporting,
• build and develop a high-performing controlling team,
• define roles, implement talent development, and enhance engagement.

Requirements:

• master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field,
• 10 years of progressive experience in Controlling, ideally in production/retail/FMCG sectors,
• proven experience in ERP, BI systems, and advanced Excel modeling,
• strong command of controlling in production, supply chain, and marketing environments,
• excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills,
• team management and work organization skills,
• high level of independence and responsibility,
• proactivity and ability to work in a dynamic business environment,
• fluent in English and Polish; German is a plus.
