Responsibilities:
- Develop the value proposition for the industry segment.
- Define and position the industry segment product portfolio.
- Conduct industry segment training sessions.
- Analyze and assess competition within the segment.
- Oversee the strategic business model for specific product ranges.
- Collaborate with the sales organization and customers to specify new product requirements and communicate ideas to product managers.
- Define the value proposition for the assigned product portfolio and new market introductions.
- Lead product launches, including commercial release, target pricing recommendations, and strategic communication to stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) post-launch to ensure success.
- Coordinate product support and training for the sales team in collaboration with Product Management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Industry segment revenue growth.
- Idea generation and selection (number of viable ideas, selection conversion rate).
- Product and market launch performance (time to market, launch readiness score).
- Internal customer satisfaction rating.
- Market intelligence effectiveness.
Key Goals for the Year - Drive direct sales growth in the Food & Packaging industry.
- Successfully launch multiple new products in the market.
- Revamp industry brochures to align with current market trends.
- Define a prioritized target customer list in key markets and support local teams to drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
- University degree in engineering or business administration.
- Minimum of >5 years experience in an international commercial role incl. technical sales.
- Experience working at a manufacturer/integrator or OEM within the Food industry.
