Our client is an international manufacturing company from the steel industry
Responsibility:
Manage the Business Line Steel industrial and technical domain: develop manufacturing footprint, ensure maximum utilisation (labour and equipment) and highest quality while achieving fixed and variable cost as well as H&S targets.
- Develop and roll out the short-, mid-, and long-term production strategy, answering to and anticipating market requirements.
- Reduce complexity within the asset base/ drive towards standard machinery/ tooling.
- Manage the changing demands on “Manufacturing Footprint” - utilising options to adapt towards more flexible work schemes (e.g. annualised hours/core employee options).
- Manage the production based KPI system; develop and implement an state of the art KPI system, continuously monitor production/production cost benchmarking, optimization (i.e. redesign for cost efficiency).
- Clear view on automation and digitization projects for the next years to come
Wymagania:
- Experience at a similar position in production company from the steel industry (at least manage 200 FTE). experience in HVAC industry will be in plus,
- Strong analytics and capability in strategy definition.
- Strong Communication skills on all hierarchy levels and intercultural skills.
- Operational implementation capabilities.
- Change leader with open and honest communication style and ability to convince, motivate and make colleagues move.
- Broad technical understanding of manufacturing process - materials and engineering.
- Innovative thinking.
- Financial awareness and cost management.
