Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions by maintaining and updating financial records regularly.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements to support informed decision-making.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations with the general ledger to maintain financial accuracy.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts by providing relevant data and analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Participate in periodic audits by preparing required documentation and offering clear explanations of financial activities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Proactively seek and implement improvements in accounting processes and promote best practices in financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes
- Fluent in German with excellent English communication skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards and principles
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel with practical experience using accounting tools
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
