Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a backend service using TypeScript and NestJS/NodeJS, acting as an adapter layer that integrates various APIs within the existing ecosystem,
• design a modular and scalable solution in collaboration with the client, following Open API specifications to ensure seamless integration,
• abstract business logic within the adapter service while enabling efficient tunneling, transformation, and translation of API data,
• implement cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring robust offline resilience—critical for supporting checkouts across 450+ stores worldwide.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and NestJS/NodeJS,
• expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based services, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),
• strong knowledge of API integration and Open API specifications, with experience in handling multiple external systems,
• hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and designing reliable CI/CD workflows,
• experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource management,
• ability to design resilient architectures that can operate offline, especially for globally distributed systems,
• understanding of how to abstract and manage business logic efficiently, ensuring a clear separation between adapter and consuming layers,
• proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative, improve solutions based on client needs, and maintain a high pace in solution development,
• excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs in a fast-paced environment.
