Responsibilities:

• designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data solutions using Snowflake,
• automating, scheduling, and optimizing business processes using Snowflake Tasks,
• creating and managing task graphs for complex workflows,
• implementing and managing Snowflake Streams for real-time change data capture (CDC),
• writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions for data processing and analytics,
• setting up and managing Snowpipe for continuous data loading from various sources,
• ensuring efficient and timely data ingestion,
• designing and maintaining data models, schemas, and tables to support business requirements,
• monitoring and optimizing Snowflake performance, including query tuning and resource management,
• collaborating closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions,
• creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Snowflake architecture, processes, and best practices.

Requirements:

Must-have skills:

• strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Tasks for automating, scheduling, and managing complex workflows,
• deep understanding and practical use of Snowflake Streams for implementing change data capture (CDC) in real-time,
• advanced proficiency in Snowflake SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions,
• experience in setting up and managing Snowpipe for continuous and efficient data ingestion from multiple sources.

Nice to have skills:

• knowledge of BFS domain (Banking & Financial Services) processes and data requirements,
• experience working in enterprise data environments and leading data architecture initiatives.

Soft skills & Leadership:

• ability to lead the design and implementation of data solutions based on Snowflake,
• strong collaboration skills with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs,
• experience in overseeing the development and maintenance of scalable data architectures,
• excellent documentation and communication skills to ensure knowledge transfer and process clarity.
