Software Engineer (node.js)

Responsibilities:

• design, development, and maintenance of software, 
• participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives,
• collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements, 
• writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability, 
• participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members, 
• troubleshooting and debugging issues, 
• continuously improving the software development process and practices, 
• communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met, 
• keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.

Requirements:

• experience building backend services with NodeJS (Express, Koa, Hapi or Nest.js),  
• strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, 
• experience with at least one of the frontend frameworks (React, Vue or Angular),  
• relational and/or NoSQL database experience,  
• experience with Source Repositories: Git based source control,
• experience with testing/static analysis tools (eslint, prettier, jest, mocha and jasmine),
• good knowledge of asynchronous programming, micro-services event driven development, 
• ability to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time, 
• fluent communication in English  .

The salary range for this position is from 2775 EUR to 4625 EUR gross before taxes. The salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
