Data Center Network Engineer with German

Responsibilities:

• design, implement, and maintain secure and high-performance network infrastructure within ACO-managed cloud VPCs,
• participate in network-related projects, including planning, architecture design, implementation, and documentation,
• diagnose and troubleshoot complex network environments, particularly within data center infrastructures,
• collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable cloud connectivity and network operations,
• mentor and support colleagues across project and operational tasks,
• provide occasional on-call support as required.

Requirements:

• proven experience in network engineering, preferably within data center or cloud-based infrastructures,
• solid expertise in Dell Networking Services and related technologies,
• practical knowledge of configuring and managing Fortinet Firewalls,
• strong grasp of cloud networking principles, particularly in managed VPC environments,
• experience in monitoring network performance and implementing optimization strategies,
• ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues in multi-vendor ecosystems,
• familiarity with modern network security tools, protocols, and best practices,
• excellent communication skills and the ability to produce clear technical documentation,
• comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting,
• proficiency in English and German (minimum B1 level).
