Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams on customer projects, ensuring value delivery and technical ownership. Work closely with sales, delivery teams, customers, and project managers to design and architect innovative, data-driven solutions,
• develop and implement scalable data pipelines and transformation solutions using cloud platforms, aligning with business goals. Architect and deploy efficient data pipelines using languages like Python, Scala, or Java, while leveraging big data technologies (e.g., Spark) to analyze large datasets. Create data models, SQL queries, and ETL processes to support data warehousing, analysis, and integration. Provide expert guidance on best practices, particularly concerning modern data architecture tools like Databricks and Snowflake,
• ensure data integrity by implementing automated testing, quality checks, and optimizing data storage and processing in cloud environments,
• develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, architecture designs, engineering solutions, and project-specific requirements,
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, including technical talks and community discussions.

Requirements:

• solid background in data engineering with exposure to BI or MLOps,
• proficiency in working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP,
• proven experience in designing and building data solutions,
• hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake or DataVault,
• strong knowledge of SQL and Python,
• experience working with Spark for large-scale data processing,
• familiarity with data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
