Data Scientist / AI engineer (Team manager)

Responsibilities:

• designing and identifying innovative applications of generative ai to address business challenges and drive value,
• integrating generative ai solutions into existing systems, platforms, and operational workflows,
• collaborating with machine learning scientists and engineers to research, design, and develop advanced generative ai algorithms for real-world business use cases,
• engaging with customers to understand their business needs and support them in the implementation and adoption of generative ai solutions,
• conducting technical workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and delivering strategic recommendations for ai adoption,
• creating and delivering reusable technical assets, such as frameworks, sample code, tutorials, and documentation to accelerate generative ai adoption across platforms,
• providing best practice guidelines, blog content, presentations, and technical recommendations tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
• gathering customer and market feedback to support product and engineering teams in shaping product development strategy.

Requirements:

• strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and deep learning concepts,
• proficiency in python programming and key frameworks such as scikit-learn, scipy, numpy, tensorflow, and keras,
• hands-on experience in generative ai projects, including text summarization, chatbot development, and llm (large language model) implementations (gpt-4, med-palm, llama, etc.),
• expertise in fine-tuning open-source llm models (llama2, google gemma) using techniques such as lora, quantization, and qlora,
• experience with rag-based (retrieval-augmented generation) architecture utilizing langchain framework and cohere models for response optimization in genai chatbots,
• knowledge of computer vision techniques, including image classification using cnn models (vgg16, resnet, alexnet, darknet),
• experience in object detection using frameworks like yolo, tensorflow object detection (tfod), and detectron,
• practical experience in image classification, object detection, tracking, and segmentation tasks,
• familiarity with neural networks, bert, transformers, rag architecture, langchain, prompt engineering, azure ai search, vector databases, and conversational ai,
• experience working with llm models such as azure openai (gpt-4 turbo), llama2, google gemma, cohere, and azure openai embedding models,
• master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics,
• proficiency in english communication.
