Functional Specialist

Responsibilities:

• configure and optimize system functionality to meet business needs,
• translate business requirements into technical solutions and oversee their implementation,
• conduct testing cycles to validate system performance and ensure alignment with defined requirements,
• identify and resolve system defects, providing third-level support when needed,
• prepare and maintain project documentation, including Process Design and Functional Design Documents under the guidance of the Stream Solution Architect,
• contribute to data migration processes by providing documentation, supporting data mapping, resolving issues, and validating data loads,
• deliver training sessions to key users and support knowledge transfer,
• assist in the planning and execution of system cut-over activities,
• provide Hyper-Care support during the post-implementation phase,
• support the development of new system functionalities and enhancements,
• collaborate with the Team Lead on task management and the Stream Solution Architect on solution design and execution,
• actively participate in implementation project activities, ensuring smooth system integration and business continuity.

Requirements:

• hands-on experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system in project environments,
• expertise in SAP PP and SD modules, including system architecture, design, and configuration,
• strong background in SAP implementation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and rollout projects, with knowledge of SAP Activate and Agile methodologies,
• extensive experience in SAP system configuration, covering workflows, validation rules, and security controls,
• proven ability to define business requirements and create functional design documentation,
• experience in designing and developing SAP software components,
• strong knowledge of SAP integration with various business systems and working with integration tools,
• deep understanding of environment management, release management, version control best practices, and deployment strategies,
• industry experience in manufacturing, preferably in the metals or automotive sector,
• bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience),
• strong verbal and written communication skills in English,
• proficiency in SAP customizing and configuration,
• experience with ABAP debugging,
• willingness to travel up to 40%,
• valid driver’s license.
