General Manager

About our Client:

For our client, a company in the automotive industry specializing in the production of components such as exhaust systems, fuel tanks, and parts made of metal and plastics, we are looking for an experienced professional for the position of General Manager.

Duties:

• oversee company P&L, budget preparation, and financial KPIs,
• manage industrial costs, margin optimization, and treasury activities,
• collaborate with the Group CFO for credit opportunities and financial strategy,
• supervise production, logistics, and maintenance activities,
• maintain operational continuity with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency,
• guide the local management team and foster a performance-driven culture,
• coordinate new projects, investments, and inter-plant collaborations.

Requirements:

• degree in Engineering or Economics (or equivalent),
• at least 10 years of experience in senior roles within the automotive sector, with strong expertise in metal operations,
• proven experience in managing P&L and complex manufacturing units,
• fluency in Polish and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus,
• excellent leadership, negotiation, strategic vision, and execution skills,
• solid financial acumen and ability to interact with banks and financial institutions,
• strong results orientation and continuous improvement mindset.
