MRO Category Manager

is a global leader in aluminum solutions, dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable products. We are seeking a MRO Category Manager to develop and execute a strategic approach to logistics procurement, ensuring value creation, risk mitigation, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Define category strategies based on comprehensive internal and external analysis.

• Develop implementation plans and build roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Supervise the development and execution of category strategies in partnership with PMO.

• Maintain continuous communication and alignment with all stakeholders.

• Track compliance with established category strategies and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Oversee all interactions with key suppliers, leading negotiations and selecting suppliers for major contractual agreements.

• Organize and execute RFIs/RFQs, defining processes and timelines with the support of analysts.

• Develop and lead supplier management initiatives, including KPI tracking and savings initiatives.

• Act as a leader in managing the total cost of ownership (TCO) within the category, coordinating procurement and functional stakeholders.

• Measure and track category spend performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, with a strong track record in category management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
• Proven leadership skills and a business-oriented mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and contract management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is an advantage.
