Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely handling of incoming purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, credit memos, and related accounts payable documents.

  • Perform reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and compile regular AP reports, including Aging, Goods Received/Invoice Received (GR/IR), and reconciliation summaries.

  • Prepare and process payment runs efficiently and on schedule.

  • Maintain and update internal process documentation and desktop procedures to align with current workflows.

  • Provide supporting documents for audits and assist team members with similar audit-related tasks.

  • Support business units, central teams, colleagues in the AP department, as well as Team Coordinators and Team Leaders with various ad hoc assignments.

  • Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes, and contribute to implementing enhancements.

  • Carry out other responsibilities connected to the accounts payable function as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable discipline.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

  • Previous exposure to finance or accounting roles within a Shared Services Center or Business Process Outsourcing environment is preferred.

  • Proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written, ideally at B2+ or C1 level, with confidence communicating in an international setting.

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
