About the employer:

Our Client is a renowned Automotive leader with over 20 years of experience in producing high-quality components and constructions for car seats, as well as offering complex solutions for vehicle interiors.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of projects, change requests such as change controls and feasibility checks;
• Technical management of team projects and independent project implementation;
• Responsibility for the budget and achievement of project objectives;
• development of new locations / new projects in coordination with interfaces,
• planning and coordination of production sequences and processes, including assessment and responsibility for investments, start-up costs and definition of sub-project work sequences,
• design of workplaces in terms of ergonomics and occupational safety,
• preparation of technical specifications for tenders, including technical evaluation of tenders and ensuring compliance with specifications, as well as support in procurement,
• monitoring the launch of procured equipment and implemented processes,
• involvement and participation in overarching core teams, project teams, CIP and 3P workshops,
• creation and ongoing adaptation of hall layouts and their implementation in HLS,
• preparation of expenditure history and project schedules,
• preparation of reports, committee documents and management reviews and their presentation,
• creation of relevant documents for the industrialisation process, participation in FMEA,
• representation of the factory Planning Manager.

Requirements:

• experience in the automotiv industry,
• previous involvement in a comparable role,
• knowledge of programs: CAD, SAP,
• background in the technical evaluation of offers,
• university degree (preferably in logitics or a related field),
• knowledge of MES, CIP, 3P, HLS,
• lanuage skills: Portuguese (C2), English (B2/C1), German (is a plus),
• openness to business trips.
