RTR Accountant with German

The project involves transitioning and taking over financial processes (Record to Report) from the client. The role includes direct communication with the client in German, so a minimum B2/C1 level in German is required.

The project is 100% remote (from Romania) and includes the full RTR process. The recruitment process consists of a language assessment and a 1-hour interview with the manager. The ideal candidate should be available to start within a maximum of 1 month.

Responsibilites:

• Keep financial records up to date, ensuring all transactions are properly and accurately documented.
• Reconcile account balances with the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Compile and analyze financial statements and various financial reports.
• Contribute to the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform routine reviews of financial data and resolve any discrepancies found.
• Provide documentation and detailed explanations during internal and external audit processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in financial accounting procedures.

Requirements:

• Fluency in German and a strong command of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in RTR.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
