SAP MM Consultant with Material Planning Experience

Responsibilities:

SAP MM Implementation and Configuration

• Responsible for the implementation and customization of the SAP MM module to meet business requirements.
• Configuring the system according to business needs.
• Testing implemented solutions and identifying and resolving system issues.

Material Planning and Process Optimization

• Analyzing and improving processes related to material requirements planning (MRP).
• Collaborating with logistics, procurement, and production teams to optimize the supply chain.
• Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material management.

User Support and Training

• Conducting training sessions for end users on SAP MM functionalities.
• Creating process documentation and user manuals.
• Providing operational support for teams using SAP MM.

Integration with Other SAP Modules

• Coordinating the integration of SAP MM with other modules, such as SAP SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
• Working closely with IT teams and SAP consultants to ensure seamless communication between modules.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

• Analyzing and resolving system errors and issues.
• Collaborating with IT teams and external vendors to optimize system performance.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in SAP MM implementation and configuration.
• Strong background in material requirements planning (MRP) and supply chain processes.
• Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, MRP).
• Understanding of integration with other SAP modules (SAP SD, PP, WM/EWM).
• Ability to configure SAP MM settings and troubleshoot system issues.
• Experience in testing, debugging, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging and SAP Fiori is an advantage.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to optimize material planning processes.
• Problem-solving skills to address system errors and inefficiencies.

Communication and Collaboration

• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT.
• Experience in training end-users and writing process documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Project Management & Adaptability

• Experience working in SAP implementation projects (full-cycle implementations preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is beneficial.
