Securities & Funds Settlements Specialist

Responsibilities:

As a Securities and Funds Settlement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely settlement of securities and fund transactions for our Swiss client. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating settlement processes as a custodian, ensuring smooth transfer of securities portfolios between various financial institutions.
• Monitoring regulatory compliance and tracking market changes that impact settlement processes.
• Managing transfers of private hedge funds and investment funds, actively managing risk, and resolving exceptional transaction cases.
• Collaborating with custodians and transfer agents to streamline settlement processes and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the functioning of securities markets and the role of a custodian.
• Advanced knowledge of the English language (minimum C1).
• Ability to effectively manage equities and fixed income products, and to conduct confirmation and transaction settlement processes.
• Familiarity with corporate action processing and reconciliation practices.
• Proven experience in securities settlement operations, including registration, instructing, and monitoring orders.
• Knowledge of SWIFT communication protocols, especially in the context of settlement instructions.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Analytical thinking with an excellent ability to notice details and cope in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills necessary for effective collaboration both internally and with external stakeholders.
