Senior Accountant (PTP)

Responsibilities:

Verification and posting of purchase invoices (in PLN and EUR) in accordance with Polish regulations (domestic purchases, intra-community acquisition of goods (WNT), import of services)

Posting REFX invoices (rental and lease costs)

Accounting for employee settlements - travel expenses and advance payments

Verification and accounting of fleet-related expenses: fuel, repairs, leasing, short-term rental

Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable balances with both domestic and international vendors

Reviewing VAT registers and ensuring timely VAT settlement

General ledger reconciliation at month-end and year-end closing

Active participation in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Central Statistical Office (GUS)

Preparing daily payment proposals in PLN and EUR

Monitoring of bank accounts (PLN and EUR)

Execution of manual payments in PLN and EUR

Verifying NPO invoice balances and issuing payment reminders to suppliers

Close collaboration with other departments within the company

Requirements:

Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or related fields

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role

Good knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act, VAT, CIT, WNT, and import of services regulations

Experience in reporting to the Central Statistical Office (GUS)

Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook

Experience with SAP (finance module)

English proficiency at min. B2 level

Strong understanding of accounting and tax law interpretation and application

Independent and well-organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Analytical mindset, good communication skills, and team spirit
