About the employer:

As a Sr Controllership Analyst, you will play a critical role in the Statutory Accounting team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including regional finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.

You will report directly to our Country Controller who is based in region, and you'll work out of our Bucharest location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • supporting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations,
  • supporting the statutory financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements,
  • facilitate statutory accounting and compliance activities,
  • drafting financial statements and undertaking a review with senior members of the team,
  • maintaining country specific templates within the statutory tool,
  • preparing statutory entries within the dedicated templates.

Requirements:

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in similar accounting roles or within audit,
  • strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations - IFRS - Local GAAP,
  • experience with ERP systems such as SAP, training will be provided,
  • strong thoughtful and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail,
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field,
