Senior Fixed Assets & Investment Accountant

Responsibilities:

Verify and post invoices related to purchases of fixed assets and real estate (PLN, EUR, domestic and cross-border transactions - WNT, import of services).

Determine amortization rates and depreciation schedules.

Post fixed asset transactions: acquisitions, disposals, internal transfers (OT/LT)

Perform monthly clearing account reconciliations and fixed assets roll-forwards.

Account for abandoned or impaired investments.

Cooperate with the Real Estate and Expansion departments and external vendors during investment processes.

Support property tax calculations (buildings/structures).

Issue internal rebilling invoices and external sales invoices related to investments and services.

Reconcile GL accounts and support financial close processes.

Assist in year-end closing, audit documentation, and internal controls.

Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Fixed Assets / GL roles.

Strong knowledge of Polish Accounting Act, VAT, CIT, WNT, and import of services and Fixed Asset Classification and Property Tax regulations

Practical experience working with SAP FI and PO REFX modules.

Solid MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook.

Good command of English (min. B1/B2 level - written and verbal).

High attention to detail, analytical thinking, ability to work independently and under deadlines.

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
