Senior Manager IT Procurement

About the employer:

Company based in Norway, operating globally in the aluminum processing industry. It specializes in advanced technological solutions used across various industrial sectors. With an international presence and extensive experience, it plays a significant role in the global aluminum market.

Responsibilities:

• responsibility for the global IT procurement strategy and its implementation, 

• leading sourcing processes in the hardware category - from strategy development to contract signing, 

• collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance and value delivery, 

• managing a global procurement team of 10-12 people, 

• supporting, mentoring, and aligning the team with company goals,

• negotiating, managing, and monitoring supplier agreements,

• handling contract renewals, modifications, and terminations,

• enhancing tools, systems, and training materials,

• developing and tracking KPIs, analytics, and performance metrics,

• riving change initiatives in IT procurement categories.

Requirements:

• proven experience in global procurement roles, with a strong focus on IT categories,

• experience in team management,

• solid knowledge of procurement technologies and emerging tech solutions,

• demonstrated leadership skills, creative thinking, and a drive to implement innovation,

• analytical approach to problem-solving,

• commitment to continuous improvement, 

• experience in contract and agreement negotiation, including the development of negotiation strategies,

• higher education degree,

• fluent in English (C1), both written and spoken, 
• willingness to travel for business a few times a year.
