Specialist for logistics planning

About the employer:

Our Client is a renowned Automotive leader with over 20 years of experience in producing high-quality components and constructions for car seats, as well as offering complex solutions for vehicle interiors.

Responsibilities:

• planning and coordination of logistics concepts and processes, including the evaluation and responsibility for investments, start-up costs and logistics space requirements,
• evaluating projects, change requests such as e.g. change controls and checking for feasibility,
• partycipaton in Preparation of logistical tenders and specifications including technical evaluation of the offers and ensuring that the specifications are fulfilled,
• support of the procurement process and participation in order processing,
• carrying out commissioning of the procured equipment and the introduced processes,
• involvement and participation in cross-departmental core teams, project teams, CIP and 3P workshops as well as responsible implementation of logistical requirements in the projects and workshops,
• creation and ongoing adaptation of the hall layouts for logistical scopes,
• technical of project management and/or  independent implementation of them,
• budget responsibility for overall projects,
• representation of the head of the logistics planning department or, in individual cases, the plant logistics department,
• development of new projects.

Requirements:

• university degree with a focus on logistics, logistics management or engineering,
• experience in a corresponding position,
• working knowledge of CAD and SAP,
• MTM certificate,
• knowledge of HLS,
• fundamental understanding of value stream mapping,
• language skills: Portuguese (C2), English (B2), German (a plus),
• experience in the automotiv industry (preferably).
