Vietnamese Language Expert

About the role: 

As a Language Expert, you’ll work on improving the performance of large language models (LLMs) in your target language. You’ll analyze data, refine evaluation processes, and ensure the model’s output is linguistically and culturally accurate. Working closely with language and technical teams, you'll help shape AI that communicates naturally and effectively. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze linguistic data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
• Provide feedback to enhance model responses and evaluation quality.
• Develop language-specific guidelines and support documentation.
• Ensure cultural and grammatical accuracy in human-generated content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive language model improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a closely related field; advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Fluency in the target language (C2/Native), with an exceptional command of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
• Strong understanding of language structures, syntax, semantics, and phonetics.
• Excellent analytical skills for pattern recognition and linguistic problem-solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and effectively.
• High attention to detail, particularly in grammar, pronunciation, and subtle variations in language use.
• Deep understanding of cultural context, idiomatic expressions, and non-verbal language cues.
